Effective [date of first release]

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal name of the developer] ("we") for the Tressa app and the products sold in it. By using Tressa you accept them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app; where the two differ, these terms apply between you and us.

What Tressa is

Tressa reads one selfie and suggests hair, brow and makeup changes, and shows them as looks drawn on your photo. The looks are AI previews: they show the idea of a change, not a guaranteed result. Real results depend on your hair, skin, the products and who applies them. Tressa is not medical or dermatological advice. Patch test any new cosmetic, and stop using a product that irritates your skin.

Your photos

• Only upload a photo of yourself. You must be at least 13 to use Tressa, and 18, or have a parent's permission, to buy a subscription or products.
• You keep the rights to your photo. You let us process it, and have it processed by the providers named in our Privacy Policy, only to give you your read and looks. It is deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful or that you do not have the right to use.

The free read and subscriptions

Each install includes one free read. Tressa Weekly and Tressa Yearly are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the App Store that unlock the Evening and Work looks, more reads and more looks. The price and any free trial are shown before you subscribe.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• A subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Buying products

Products in Tressa are sold by [legal name of the developer] and shipped from our suppliers. Prices are in US dollars and include any discount shown; sales tax and shipping are shown before you pay. Product photos and shades are shown as accurately as we can, but colours vary between screens.

• Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates.
• Returns and refunds: [return window, condition of returned items, who pays return shipping, how to start a return]. Opened cosmetics cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless they arrived damaged or are not what you ordered.
• If an order arrives damaged or wrong, email hello@tressaly.com within [number] days with your order number and a photo, and we will replace it or refund you.

Using the app fairly

Do not try to get around the free read limit, interfere with the service, copy it, or use it to build a competing service. We may suspend access that abuses the service.

Our content

The app, its design and its text are ours or our licensors'. You may use the looks drawn from your own photo for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing them.

Disclaimers and liability

Tressa is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that a suggestion will suit you, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; we will change the date above and tell you in the app about material changes. You can stop using Tressa at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state or country], except where your local consumer law gives you the right to rely on it.
